Some people aren't willing to move for that cheap rate. -
yeah, like some stuff out of CO, right Redd? Did you see the rate went up? a whole 1¢, heck that's almost a 1% increase!
well at least they didn't lie to me, they said there was a rate increase coming out of that place. -
You've loaded at Rocky Mountain Steel also?
-
I can neither confirm nor deny that true statement
-
they didn't increase the tarp fee though, its still $0.00
-
Then they get 0 0 0 tarps.
I've never tarped anything out of RMS -
IF, and that's big IF, I ever go back there at those rates, I will make it perfectly clear to the agent that the load will not be tarped without compensation. I'll do it by voice and email so there is a record of that statement well before going in to load. with an average fuel cost of 50¢/mile those rate are completely unacceptable.
oh, I forgot, they are a "volume" shipper so that allows the discounts ... -
If you pay your own IFTA you end up paying more in IN than IL if memory serves me correct....
Pump price is cheaper, but after you figure in the taxes it isn't so cheap. -
Mercer pays 100% of the fuel taxes with no charge backs
