There are plenty of people on here that are not drivers. Some are retired drivers, some are truckers wives, some are in other aspects of the industry, and we have a lot of company drivers and owner operators here as well.

ANYONE is allowed to be a member here as long as they follow the rules set down by the owner of this site.

Damage control? More likely drivers that work for the company that have NOT had the experiences you have had. We have drivers from most companies on both sides of the fence . . . good and bad.

Me . . . I'm a retired driver, married to a driver, and daughter of a retired driver (30 + years under my dad's belt).

I am the one that mentioned the libel suit possibility.

I think it is nice that you want to get the information out. I only commented that the way you are doing it leaves alot to be desired.

The best way to address what happened is to start a New Thread titled about PTL and them being bad. Then list the many things they did to you.

Realize that when someone comes to the forum, they immediately check to see if the company has ever been listed on the Bad Company threads. They will look there.

Most will attempt to search by the company name. Guess what, if the thread is titled correctly, it comes up. If not, it is a lost comment.

So, is this damage control for the company, I think not. I think I was trying to be helpful to the driver who has been wronged.

Many of us here have dealt with the many things you have and are glad to get it out to the other drivers.

I am sorry that you took it the wrong way, but realize many companies do search on here and are not required to be members to read what has been posted about them.

Most definitely agree with trkdvr, husband WAS there, but quit. never got home on home time, even when given A MONTH. Miles were crappy. They have 2 orientations a week. This says ALOT. No idle, AND NO GENERATOR. Bought one for him so he wouldn't suffer. When they found out about it, they said to get rid of it,even though he emptied the gasoline when he placed it on truck. His last 3 paychecks before he quit was not over 250.00 he is now with a much better company

I see nothing wrong with this former drivers statement. In fact as a former inside worker (inner office ) I can assure you I see nothing mis-leading about his statements against PTL and would be willing to backing him. I worked Directly for the Vice President at PTL and I am no longer there due to the fact of the way they treated there drivers and how they care nothing about the drivers. You do not make a man or woman sleep in his or her truck making them shut down when its over 100 degrees or or below 40 degrees to save the company money on fuel. This is no way to treat anyone. The only concern is getting the loads delivered at whatever cost legal or not. And yes as a known fact PTL will have insiders post comments here for Damage control... FACT.
    Have a Great Day

PTL Does NOT have a Regional Division! All they offer is OTR you are NOT home every weekend. Becareful what people tell you, any doubts call the company for information then RUN like the wind. This driver gave you some bad information. I still have inside contacts at PTL and they confirmed that there is NO REGIONAL DIVISION. In fact the responce was a laugh and a quote saying that they missed the memo on that one. Good Luck to you but I would keep on looking if you want to be treated like a person and not a machine.
