Well, I leave out Saturday for Swift's Millington, TN school for the start of training on Monday 2/28. I admit having some anxiety which I assume is normal, but it's time to stop sucking my thumb and get going with it, or move out of the way. I will not be doing any updates from school. Ahhhhhhhhhh.......I can just hear the sighs of disappointment. lol How many "my adventures at_____________school" can be done?
Besides, I think I'll be spending any extra time cleaning the loads of poo out of my pants. Thanks to you experienced drivers who have provided great advice. I have learned a ton of information here, and also enjoyed the time spent here as I waited for my chance to get started. Thanks to the Mods for not booting me off the forum....yet! Once I get through the school and before going out with a trainer, I hope to be able to catch up on the carnage here. I will take my laptop with me then, for those times I may need advice (or a cyber-kick in the pants). Are you listening Injun?
Don
Finally, the time is here!

Buckeye, I thought you were against Swift? What made you change your mind?
-
Good luck with it and let us know how it goes! Yep, the nervousness is normal, and will start to go away as you get more comfortable in the truck.

have fun and keep an open mind and absorb as much info as you can--you will do great--dont worry and just remember to breath

Good luck. Are you going flatbed?
