Now I'm really confused

    I wouldn't have been too surprised to see language that included accountablity for negligence. But this thing just floored me. I haven't seen one driver on any of these threads that earned there CDL PRIOR to joining there starter company, say they had to sign a contract making them potentially responsible for the companies expenses of going out with a trainer. I've kinda got past the shocked stage and now I'm well into the irritated stage.:biggrin_25510:

    I paid for my school and got my cdl before I went to a company.

    Same here. Only thing was my first job was with an outfit that turned out to make companies like SWIFT and Werner look good. Didn't stay with them very long for sure. OTOH, it gave me a good yardstick to measure the next company by.

    They aren't in business anymore. It was the same old story. Dad got the business going years ago and made a pretty good small outfit there. Raised his snot nosed a-hole kid with a silver spoon in his mouth. Eventually let said snot nose run the company. . .right into the ground.
