Despite gloom and doom reports, U.S. economy still trucking

According to a report by Saxo Bank, the U.S. economy is still growing strong. Here are the main points:

Yields are continuing higher in all regions. This is a period of strong economic activity in the U.S. and the only concern is the impact of the higher yields on Personal Consumptions and the low level of GDP growth in the Q1.

Stocks are making new highs on a daily basis and they are still cheap, measured by their P/E multiples. Average P/E of the S&P500 since the 1980s is around 22.6. Current P/E is at 18.

M2 Money Supply Growth is rebounding and currently running at 6.5% YoY. M1 Money Supply Growth has been below 0% YOY for the last year, but this measure too has the potential to go higher.

Commercial and Industrial Loans and Leases at Banks in the U.S. have showed a healthy expansion since 2004 and since April, we have almost seen a blow-off phase. That should support stocks.

will start to move to Canada and Mexico to escape
the Tax increases.
