Well Tink is at the Vets for her surgery Told him she better be ok or the big ol USA would not be big enough to hide him!

JJ is in Boise with a freddy load 3 stops and then coming home until tomorrow, and then I think we have a load going to Stockton for a Sunday delivery.

 

I learned to aprreciate that Ole phrase "rocks my world" last night. Prevously, it was associated with great sex and good drugs. I can now add to it, what happens when somebody fails on a blindside back and comes right into your sleeper!!! 1 of the air vents came out and into my lap and am dang sure glad that the microwave, was belted down cause just noticed it had moved also and THAT my friends, would have hurt!!!! Looks like every panel on the right side, starting behind the door and including the back corner will have to be replaced. Did NOT realize, just how THIN the sheet metal on these trks are. Not much more than aluminum foil. lol

 

Oh yea, I was asleep at that time and the guy was man enough to come knock on my door as I was getting dressed, instead of just taking off. Hope he doesn't lose his job over this.

 

#### Panhandle, that had to scare the hell out of you. Glad you're okay. Nice of the other guy to "man up" and I too hope that he doesn't lose his job over it. I'm sure the next time he does a blind side back-up, he'll get out of his cab and look to make sure he doesn't hit anything. #### shame that you had to be the one for him to learn this lesson from. Good luck and stay safe...in that sleeper, lol.

Oh Wow! When I saw you mention this on another thread, I did not realize you were in it asleep at the time. Glad you are Okay. That microwave, or his trailer could have "left a mark".

Thank you!!! The Vet called at 1800 and she was doing great We can pick her up at 10.00 in the morning, told him we would be there at 0959 lol.

 

It is good to hear tink is doing good.

And, that would have messed up a whole lot on our truck including crushing the laptop. I would have come unglued. Wonder how many people were watching it just happen and not get out of the truck and help someone out who is probably tired and had little choice where to park. I guess that is better than the lazy rears who just park wherever instead of taking the time to back in somewhere. Glad you are ok thou pan

 

I have gotten to the point that I say something to the lazy drivers that park in non-parking places. Especially if spots are available.
I will walk right up to their truck and cuss them out, if they are visible in the truck.
So far out of dozens of drivers, none have had the guts to get in my face about it, and quite a few have moved.
You want to really piss me off, try parking in a place that makes it hard for me to get out of my space.
I will pound on your sleeper till you get up and move every time. Even if I could have managed to get out with the truck parked there.
I do not believe in letting lazy people get away with being lazy at others expense.

 

thats hilarious! would it make you made if someone parked along the roadway up to the rest areas instead of in the parking spaces if there was a spot? Just curious because some allow you to park there on the left hand side.
