I'm told changing the turbo will not affect the warranty.I too have some warranty remaining and don't want to jeopardize it. In respect to helping the fuel economy, I don't know yet. I'm running a 6NZ 475 in an '03 Pete with the Full Tilt manifold as well. I'm looking at several different options in respect to the turbo, I'm just not sure which direction I'm going to go. If and when I do change, I will post results.

The Turbo change will effect you warranty because its not a Cat product. Unlike the manifold, because that is just an improved version of a cat product. Check with who does your warranty work first.

I live in Tulsa but my favorite Cat house is in Fargo due to my route, I told them that I had bought a B/W non waste gated turbo and asked what it would do to my warranty. Basically they have to be strict to keep their Cat franchise, if I had any problem that the new turbo may.have caused...blown head gasket etc...its not covered but say.a water pump would be. That said...my local MHC KW dealer insatlled the B/W turbo while doing a Cat warranty head gasket job, it all depends on who does the work. If you have a cool dealer at home but have a problem on the road...you may be screwed.

If the problem is the result of the turbo, the warrany would go to the place that made the turbo.
