Can someone help me find out how to go about getting more training? I have driven dump trucks and cement mixers. I would like to learn how to handle a roll off truck. But no one seems to want to train anyone. How can they hire anyone if they are not willing to train? Can someone help me find out how to get training for roll off? If it helps I am in Ga. :Tank truck:

i had to get rid of the red...it was hurting my eyes...

that being said, i cannot think of any roll-off "training" as its usually on the job training one gets..

you will have to apply to every roll-off company that there is in your area, go more than once, make a pest of yourself, do what YOU NEED TO DO to get your foot in the door...

they may hire you, just to get rid of you for the day...

Thank you for trying to help. I've pestered the roll off companies around here for years. They keep begging for help but refuse any that doesn't have exp. Some of these have been begging for help for years and still will not hire unless you have exp.

frankly eddie, it's the same thing "over here".....let them figure out how they will get the help....besides, you should also "beware" that companies who are constantly looking for help should send BAD vibes through your body....constantly looking for help can mean one or many things, like low pay, no benefits, lousy working conditions, etc,etc....it's the companies that do very little to NO advertising that you'd probably really want to work for.....

the "usual" roll-off/container companies that HAVE hired and trained "were", BFI and Waste Management. i'd go to Waste Managements website and do a search there, provided of course, they are somewhere's near you.
