Dino, hon, don't be so hard on yourself. Like Nik said, it's not up to us. Remember what Mrs SP said, and know that you brought SP a lot of joy by sharing your dream with him. Don't give up on him, just keep praying and holding on to positive thoughts. Meantime, it sounds like you could use a hug yourself. ~Hugs~

Dino, SP is one lucky guy. He has a good friend like you. Do you realize how exceedingly rare that is?

Not only have you stuck by him, you've allowed us to keep track of him and allowed us to tell him we care (the card thing). Now, should the Lord call him home remember this; the only real thing any of us can do to justify our life is to pass on what we know. You've allowed SP to do that with dignity.

Dino, what Kittyfoot said. It is terribly hard to see someone you think a lot of, fade away. It is never easy, no matter what.

Have strength my friend. You have done all you can. Be thankful you have had the opportunity to know him, and to help him the way you have.
