Those are usually not good for newbies. A lot of small parking lots. Cars everywhere. Lot of newbies end up banging up cars then have a bad dac and can't find another driving job.

    Wow,I'm getting screwed then lol.

Been doing Dollar Tree for 3 weeks now and not making anywhere near that kind of money out here in WA.
I'm working for Schneider though not USX,just 4 months OTR experience and they hired me for Dollar Tree.
I took the job for the hometime,it's hard work but I get home every weekend.
I'm only getting $90 a load for a 53" trailer plus $25 for every stop after the first, usually 2 or 3 stops so I get $115-$140 per load and only 28cts a mile for 6 months then a bump to 30cts.
Its' challenging hard work for that kind of money,as stated some stores are a PITA to get into with a 53' trailer and some impossible so we have a couple pups for those.
So far so good,I am very careful getting in and out but it is nerve wracking at times lol.

I live in Wisconsin also, and I was on the DT account with US Xpress, you will get home on wekends but will take a load home with you to deliver to Minnesota on Monday, then head back to Joliet Il for a new load, but you need to keep in mind that if there is a DT store in the town that u live in, you will NEVER deliver in that area. Also please be careful unloading at these stores it is a floor load from flor to ceiling and wall to wall, and no idea why they always seem to load the heavy stuff on top and potato chips on bottom, also keep in mind that it isnt just DT that you deliver too, DT also owns stores called DEALS, and if you ever have to deliver to the DEALS store in Shrewsbury Mo, be extremely careful, it is a 5am unload, pitch black out, the door you unload at is at a downhill grade, and the load WILL fall towards the door with you in the trailer. I had 4 rows of product fall on me while unloading, didnt even see it coming, store manager saw it starting to fall but couldnt yell fast enough, him and worker jumped in trailer to dig me out, I had to have a double hernia repair due to the incident, and my lower spine is messed up and am currently seeing spine specialist in the chicago area, Insurance company is fighting me and my doctor( that they sent me too) on tests, so i have been off work now for 1 year.. I made good money while on this acct, but will have permanent problems rest of my life because of it..
