greatwide ripoff!

I was told an unsolicited apology is a true apology.. I believe you care.. It is just you come across as very I know you are going to get pissed about this but a company man/woman.. I know your opinion because you gave it very clearly in the post I asked you about what lies were on the site.

I understand completely the "working for the contractors" I can just handle upper management. I work for the biggest ### greatwide employs. I will not say who I work for as I still work for them.. but you know him and I am sure you hate him.. He is so protected by Dallas though it is unreal. I love my dispatchers and I am sure they know you, in fact one that recently transferred to Dallas worked in Cleburne for awhile, probably with you. He got tired of being cussed backstabbed and lied to.. You will not find a bigger supporter of the office people than me. I consider all of them at my home terminal a friend, so I understand the working for the contractor thing.. I just don't understand how someone (you) that seemingly gets it that the company is corrupt, seems like you only see it from your end.

This is 1 every wal mart dc has the same contract with greatwide since 2007 wal mart wanted them all to expire at the same time so they could bind all the texas louisanna oklahoma and new mexico dc's together.

Every greatwide wmt dc gets 40 dollars for every load they pull 21 per stop and 21 per backhaul.. Cleburne gets 35 gate 35 stop and 35 backhaul. same contract.. Other dcs have just as much bad freight.. what gives on that. Like I said I have been around forever I know the game..

This is the only company that sold us (under the old regime) that taking our pay from .84 cpm to .765 was a raise.. with perks. I make less now ... I knew it wasn't a raise but stayed anyway.

I will not discuss anything name wise or anything like that on this site as greatwide does have trolls on here.. But I will say this a dispatcher that was in Cleburne and was made ATM in New Caney had a father with trucks in Terrell and Pauls Valley.. I dont know if you knew that but he did.

 

so why did the need for companies like greatwide ever come about. were there not enough top flite owner ops who could do this work. greatwide is a company that treats its drivers like endentured servants or slaves..this is the same scheme used when people would sell their services to get a chance at freedom..but the slave owners or crop owners would keep adding fees an charges an the people would never get their freedom...greatwide is the worst of the worst an i have friends there

 

Greatwide treats their agents/dipatchers like royality,bring them to Pa.for a weekend,and won't give their drivers a cap.They will take that agents word over any driver.Sad when you treat your drivers like a throw away commodity.

I never saw any dispatchers treated like royalty...I know a dispatcher that was constantly called in on their days off with no compensation other than an email that said thanks, at least at my terminal the o/o did get Christmas cards all the dispatchers got was an email saying they should be thankful to have a job!

 

How long did you work at the WH WalMart terminal if you don't mind me asking?

 

The agents/dispatchers that I'm speaking of are off every week-end.They get paid a percentage of the loads.If they claim that a driver said this or that,it's taken as a fact by the home terminal.The driver isn't even ask for his side.

 

i worked at the winter haven dc about 5 months.. long enough to know that i did not want to pay greatwide for the honor of pulling a wal mart trailer.. sit in the yard because they say they have loads an 4 hours later they call you for a 100 dollar load. they charge you fees an other charges an then look at you like you are crazy,, then hand you a 150 dollar load an think they are great. stayed there until i could find a job an i bring home over 1000 a week an dont have to live with my cell phone with me 24/7

 

i will add this .. most of the guys there dont want to be anywhere else. they dont or cant unload freight by hand or work team. i have pride maybe too much but i will not be treated like a second hand citizen.. i tried an gave it 110 percent.. but everytime you think this could be the week.. its no loads or too many 110 dollar loads
