Sounds like a head gasket. What type of motor do you have?
I had the same thing and I waited and it cost me a head also.

Mine lasted almost 6 months that way before it went out. I will tell you one thing don't go to Diesel power and machine here in Indiana. They did my head and I still have problems.

Head gaskets will be a 24hr job on a cat so it should be a lot less with your cummins.

You could just have a head bolt broke if the leak is from under the head and not from another gasket and running back to the head. Clean everything and watch as the oil starts to leak to confirm location.

Ditto, good advice. if the leak seems to be toward the rear of the head on the turbo side it may be the connection for the injector wire that is leaking (they leak from time to time).

Are you sure it is the head, or just the rocker box gasket. If the leak is minor, don't worry about. All engines leak oil.

the leak is at the back of the motor on the turbo side..as far being sure that its the head im not its right under the i guess rocker box where its coming from...and old buddy told me today if it aint got a leak you aint working it boy drive the truck.....i just dont need any major problems and want to check before i do have some...
