Just wanted to check in since it's been quite some time. I got back into WVC Sunday afternoon after finishing up with roadrunner...forgot what the John Deere numbers were in his name...anything you want to know about JD he can tell you alllllll about them... anyway, I had a great time with him and learned so much more than I expected. He is a very gentle and persistent trainer who truly loves to teach about the skills of driving and has more patience than Mother Theresa. Lord knows I pushed him to his limits on backing... but I did ace the driving and backing both. If anyone in WVC is ready for a very talented trainer, I highly recommend him. I went through orientation and safety today and will now sit here in the Ramada waiting for the call from Russ telling me he has a truck...somewhere. I am excited to get out on the road with all you great gals and guys and hope I never "run into" any of you. I can't wait to see my family again, January 8 was a verrrry long time ago.

The only other mail in the house was the (he has been fixed) -
I just pulled in about 45 minutes ago. I'll be here for 10 to 11 hours. I'm in truck 93989 a red W9 Kenworth.... I am hooked to a trailer so I'll be over where the trailers are.
Anyone else that is here in CRSWVC come by and say 'hi'. -
Well I know it says you can be fined for idling, and the other week they had officers doing dot inspections in the lots, so you can do all that but not do anything other than take my info, seemed odd. Oh, and btw, the ta in willcox DOES NOT have any kind of video of the fuel islands or the lot. No video.

Congrats Raincatcher! I'm glad you got a good trainer and some quality training. That makes for one more good truck driver behind the wheel. Plus your chances of success are much greater. Nice to know there are still good trainers out there. I am sure it won't take long to get you a truck. You may have to travel to another terminal though. No big deal. Good luck man!
Raincatcher Thanks this. -
The email I got says that we can/will leave strait out with a trainer but that may be negotiable (or not) if you need it to be. I wanna go on the road quickly to start earning money ASAP.Last edited: Mar 2, 2011
