Too bad you couldn't make it for coffee on Monday. Seems like you had your hands full with your truck.

I would have made it, had my truck not sprung its "Little" leak, I lost another 4 gallons of oil in the 50 yards from my parking spot where I had just put 4 gallons in to the shop at the TS!:biggrin_2555:

So I got to my first stop a half hour early hopeing theyd come in early..no such luck but they only had 1 coutch so it didnt take long.

Then I decided I would "try" to get the ####cago stop off today, and maybe 1 more if I could lol

Well after the worlds longest drive I finnally got to chicago, and it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, all the Low bridges are marked very well. And My GPS knew where they all where so it was easy getting in and out except for the tight little roads. This place was in the GHETTOOOOOOOOOO! I didnt see not ONE! white person for a good half hour! It was such a ####ty area. I really cannot see why anyone would want to live in chicago :biggrin_25513:. But of course the place was full of lets call them "non english speaking americans" to be politcly correct.... Anyway they made unloading there 2 boxes take for ever and then of course they had to open the boxes and feel up the furniture like a middle school boy would his first GF :biggrin_2559: Like seriously they were down on there knees rubbing it and stuff:biggrin_25513:. So they wasted 1 hour of my time so they made it so I couldnt make it to the third stop :biggrin_25510:

Then where to park? Ya chitcago sucks! NO PLACE to park I had to come up to the TA Chitcago which is NO WHERE near chicago! WTF lol I 10 feet from WI :yes2557:

Anyway so tomorrow I have to bust out 2 stops and be at the third BY NOON according to the paperwork....I should be fine but we'll see, so far nothing to bad has happend on this run and you all know how the furniture runs end up going for me lol

Oh and $14.35 for dinner at the Country Pride! What a waste of freakin money, although I was able to help a older driver with his VORAD problem lol

Ha! That might have something to do with it! Lol. Although, I believe it's more due to the fact that we both have a strange passion for this business and grew up wanting to get in it. I believe I remember you from Texomatic's board. You, Rooster, and I were about the only frequent posters over there.

Here's hoping you make out of Chicago soon!

I got my last 3 stops done pretty easily today, but like I said something always goes wrong, I was given the wrong Name AND Phone number for one of the stops today....:biggrin_25513:

Anyway so then I drove up the street from the last stop and picked up a load going back to NC, a 12.5hour drive.....It doesnt deliver until MONDAY at 9am......:biggrin_25523: Great so another 34 hour reset....
