I went to Owens Corning to get my reload (insulation) and after getting loaded I went in to get my paper work and when handed the paper work they gave me a Owens Corning hat for driver appreciation.
Sure it wasnt much but its the first time I have ever recieved anything from a shipper so I thought It was pretty cool of them to do that.
Has anyone else gotten anything from a shipper such as a hat or etc.....?

I have gotten a couple of hats from some oilfield supply companies. Nothing special, but better than a boot in the ###. Had to ask for them, but if you never ask they can never say no.

When I first started driving I had a hard time finding a small pair of work gloves because most of the truck stops weren't carrying them for women. While picking up coils in Phoenix, a fork lift operator had noticed my oversize gloves and stopped loading me and went inside then came back out and gave me a brand new pair of leather gloves. Now the truck stops carry gloves in all sizes and colors but I will always remember where I got my first pair.

I used to pick up bakery supplies from a company that makes all sort of mixes, fillings and frostings for donut shops and bakeries. I guess most of the employees there had taste-tested so many baked goods that their taste buds were shot.
The people from their test kitchen were always trolling the shipping and receiving areas for drivers willing to taste and rate some new donuts or cakes or pies. Never left there hungry and saved the cost of a meal that day.
