MAN D28 technical data.... MAZ is a company that use very different engines. Some of them are exotic, like Deutz.

my GF's syster lives in Australia. She sees very long road trains, generally towed with european COE trucktors. But they use other versions of engines we can not see in EU and in USA.

roadtrains in australia goes up to 200ton which is 440000lbs
and there are a lot of roadtrains for private roads some of them weights up to 700 tons but with additional engine on one of trailer ( also 19L cummins allison g box and sisu tridem drive axles )

here are the specs for 4x2 scania with v8 engine and hub reduction rp835 axle gross weight is 124000kg which is 273500lbs

edit : but problems are off road on high incline mud etc.

there was video on YT of 6x4 volvo fh16 520 from video was from 1999 with gross weight of 220tons 485000lbs but autor delete it

i highly recommend to watch those videos below

note their strain on transmission down shifting from 14th gear to 7th and from 7th to 1st that makes problem

The weak point of trailers are axes. I prefere round axes, not squre, the best (IMO) are ROR/Meritor and SAF/Holland. Dana, BPW are weaker.

Trucktor weak points are tires. that's why 6x4 trucktors are better. EU hightway trucktors are usually 4x2 ore 6x2.

The other kind of heavy trailers are tankers.

Heaviest load I ever hauled was 130K Gross. I had 100K of soybeans in the trailer. Bossman had a problem Strom coming in and Full load in the Combine and 2 Weigh Wagons Full. I was the only truck at the loadpoint so I got them all and took them to the Elevator. Needless to say that 290 Cummins in that 4070 was Screaming her head off. I thought I had a 318 under the seat for that trip.
