Hey all, drove from 1996 to 2003 for robbins motor as a heavy hauler. Havent driven since, got into construction buts now dead (no work) looking to go back otr for a good flatbed/heavy haul carrier. Im having a problem finding a job due to the "must have 2 years recent experience" thing. Insurance purposes I'm told.

Clean mvr, if anyone knows any companies please let me know. I'd eventually like to get with ats trucking but need that 2 years again first.

    thanks for any help.

Having been out of the seat since 2003, you probably will. You might want to browse some of the threads in the forum. There are other drivers who have been in the same situation.

Try doing a search for you topic, and use the 'Search Threads' option, or you will end up with every post that remotely mentions refresher courses!

Welcome. After 8 years you *may* need more than a refresher. Good luck.

Hell, rambler I've been out of the seat since 2000 and all I would have needed was a refresher. I still have my CDL, and maintain my fed med. Don't think I'll be in the seat ever again, but ya never know!

    rambler Thanks this.
