i had no problems with this company i had a great d/m got my miles 3200-4000 a week i made my money but when my d/m quit it became a new ball game i was cut to like 1500-2000 a week when i was applying to other companys all the sudden my miles picked up back to 3000 plus a week i figured it to be because i was leaveing i was the driver that every d/m wanted on there board do what ever it takes to get it there on time run 18 hours straight i learned not to be that driver so if your gonna go to western express they have a great medical plan nice 401k retirement bennies but ###### d/m service anymore they think shut yur mouth and run the load works for d.o.t oh and now they are currently doing water loads that are so heavy you gotta run 1/4 taks or less just to be leagal at all times so drivers think twice and jeff from the fontana office if you ever see this do me a favor take a long walk off a short cliff

The oreintataion is not real informative ,its ok,I stayed in a really nice comfort inn,its 3 days. IF you go flatbed then you have a few more days training and get paid for it, as far as getting loads I stay plenty busy and for you drivers that complain,Its like most companies has its good and bad things. You drivers always complaining about bad companies, can you prove the one your with is the best, did not think so. If the so called one is perfect than you should never be able to get a driving job with them cause no one will ever leave. Anywhere just wanted to throw my few cents in

Not to be a clown but if your husband had a light out b4 he picked up the load or even if it occured after you get that fixed ASAP. Moreover if he used his qualcomm and not his phone breakdown would have sent him to a TA....... and yes they do respond to qualcomms a lot faster.. With the freight lanes we run DOT would love nothing more than to have shut you down......we run a lot of new england states which have more inspection stations than weigh stations. It comes with the territory if you run with WE......It ain't a bad gig just don't expect any hand holding because they don't do that here. Trip plan and run hard and you can make decent money. Most runs avg. between 500 - 700 miles loaded not counting mty.....justmake the most of your time.

Western was cool back in 06 when I ran for them. No problem getting loaded or even stacked with 2 loads at a time just as long as kept being on time. I was in the flatbed division and had great loads, always 900+ or better, tarped and made every home request except once. Every company has there issues however as far back as I can remember as long as you didn't refuse loads, ran hard, knew how to trip plan properly it made for some of the easiest money I every made. If you care to know why I dont work there anymore I had a accident. Good luck and I hope they havent went down the crapper too! Drive safe!
