    I'd tell the school they have 2 options, pay for the retest or give me back my money. It sounds like a real Halfaz$ school, if they only give you a few trys to master something before going to the DMV....you should have had time to do it 1000 times before even thinking about going to the DMV.

    No, but we only had a class of three and one didn't pass his permit.

    We both passed our pretrip and in-cab/brakes, but we went over that again and again during lunch, breaks, and the drive (we carpooled). Hard to go over skills in your free time.

    I'm going to go try again, but not until I'm ready, which will probably be Wednesday. If they want to be upset at me for it, I'm good with that, but I can actually drive okay, I think. I just need a lot more practice on backing.

    Thanks for the encouragement. I've gotten really bad about giving up due to a rough three years and every little bit helps.

    Glad to hear you're not giving up. You can do it. Passed the permit tests on Friday so might be seeing you at the yard soon when we start doing pretrip on the truck.

    Wow, sounds like things have changed at the yard. We had plenty of time to practice the skills round-robin before we took the test. We worked on it for at least 3 days over and over. You sound like you have the will to do it, so with a little more practice, I'm sure you can do it!

    You'll be at the yard on Thursday unless they change that, too. :biggrin_25522:

    I might stop by after they let me retake the test. I know I won't be ready tomorrow, so I won't even attempt. I don't see any purpose in wasting the $30.

    Congrats on the permits passing (not that I had any doubt with you). BTW, do you have a thread here? I casually looked and didn't find it.
