You may want to consider looking at a new or slightly used truck. Your payments may not be that much higher when you consider that you probably won't be able to amortize an old truck for the same length of time. In addition you are looking at a truck with full warranty and minimal maintenance costs in the first couple of years. You can spec the truck for the job at hand. You also have some tax savings in the form of depreciation right offs in your first few years.
