Sprint is known for this type of behavior. Dropping customers that 'roam' too much or contact their Customer Service 'too often'.
If they had the nerve to cancel you then I wouldnt be paying any cancellation fee. They canceled you - then I would return the equipment still under contract back to them and call it the end. After all, you can use their equipment they sold you if they shut off your service...
outerspacehillbilly Thanks this. -
I have all so contacted the Better Business Bureau and turned in a complaint and see what they can do about it. if that will help I found out the have a lot and I mean a lot of complaints against them for there business practices. guess we live and learn.

Im using the Boost Mobile service which is Sprint's prepaid deal. It works well in the eastern half of the country. But going west through kansas, and some of the other states, even along the interstates, coverage can be poor at best.

Huh? roaming will get yah everytime,I personally keep mine on "roaming lock" as I dont want to pay these fees
4+ androids=CHAAAAA-CHING!
really have great service with sprint for 8 years(2 phones and unlimited download on laptop service)
I would look on htere Website and see where the service in your hometown where your family really is like(interactive map) might help you out and check to see if your daughters phones have the roaming locked out.
Just a thought ,,good luck -
I was on the unlimited every thang. And it was just my line that used to much roaming but it advertises. Unlimited and since I'm being kicked off and its under my name every one is removed

I had Sprint for years before moving to Verizon. I always used the option that blocks roaming on your phone. I get better service with Verizon but they have too many money making schemes. I since moved to prepaid which is cheaper and more managable. I average around 400 minutes a month so it made more sense. No more big bills.

I average a little over 4,000 minutes a month on average....Sometimes it goes as high as 5,000 when I'm really busy.
Prepaid would be a pain for someone like me but as I said before I have had no problems with Sprint in 8 years so I don't think I'll change anytime soon. -
I use value talk now,for 45 a month.I also use verizon for my laptop,5gs for 60 month.$100 a month for everything, including unlimited text and internet on phone.Only drawback is they don't have any smart phones. My old sprint service was running about $170 on the free and clear america plan.

I paid Sprint $300 to get away from them three years ago...I went to Verizon and have had NONE of the problems I had with Sprint (c/s call centers in various countries that hadn't a clue what I was talking about, huge areas with no signal) I love my Droid, as a matter of fact I ordered a Droid X today. I used to use a Verizon aircard for internet (only two places in the country I didn't have any signal, WV travel plaza on I-77 and Little America parking lot in Flagstaff) but turned it off when I went local. Now that I'm going back over the road, I can use the Droid for a mobile signal for the laptop for an extra $20 a month, which leaves my phone bill $50 less than it was with the card.
I have unlimited talk and text for $90 a month and now the $50 for data and Mobile hot spot. Paperless billing (email once a month to remind me) and they haven't failed me yet.
Just my experience.
