the company is still Lonestar transportation LLC. personnally, find some place else to work, their turnover rate is very high, (they keep losing good drivers, constantly, over things like home-time, missed personal appointments, like signing for a new home, doctors appointments, weddings, family emergencies, etc.) poor in office communications, 1 or 2 of their dispatchers have attitude problems that could be fixed. driver retention lacks, heavily. equipment maintenance (the director of) came from Werner and doesn't know crap about trucks (nuff said there). terminal to terminal is a different story. the so-called lead planner in Fort Worth can't remember to pull his pencil out of his ear to remember what his e-mail said about the loads that need to be hauled. need I say more??

Sounds like things are pretty bad over there, I've heard about the home time before.

I appreciate your input but I take it from your comments your a COMPANY DRIVER? I dont mean it in a bad way, but what about the owner operator side?

I was with lonestar 3 years. The first 2 were great lots of miles made good money never had to worry about hometime. the third year was whats worse than bad. i got hurt last march and was off about 10 months. when i came back in feb, of this year all the rules had changed and they didnt want to share the new rules. i was back about 30 days in those 30 days i noticed alot of new faces most of the old hands said to hell with it and quit. they take and take and dont give nothing back. If I knew then what I know now I wouldnt have gone back. If you like working for a compny were the drivers are trash and you like staying gone for 3-6 weeks and only getting 2 days off go to work for them. I finaly had to tell them I aint married to lonestar im married to my wife
HouseOfPain Thanks this.
