Breaking C1 contract with usa will pam hire?

We were told by usa my husband and I could team, so he went to get his cdl back first in little rock and then I went to springfield. We found out we couldnt team for 6 months so I went with PAM and he is coming over as experienced driver.(Both of us drove before just let license expire while raising the kids) So my question is, PAM said they would take him too but will they care that he will break his c1 contract. He will continue to pay c1 but I wasnt sure if because C1 uses both companies they will "ban" the switch........HELP please
