They've had em ever since they bought out Rocor. I don't know when you were here but you might remember when that was..I don't. Guessing maybe 7-8 years ago.

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.
-
I was there in 1999-2000. Only "company" drivers were guys driving for WilTrans back then.
-
Not really. They've done a good job maintaining rates - and it helps to get on a board with a good FM. That makes all the difference.
Truck payment depends on what you've got, how long you've been in the lease and whether or not its a "short term" lease - I'm sure you know that. My Cascadia is running me $834 per week. -
So $3586 a month for the truck.(based on 4.3 x weekly payment) That is triple what I have for a payment. $2400 a month out of pocket difference, and I guarantee you that under the worst of circumstances I don't have $2400 more in maintenance costs than you do.
Wow man you must be killing it there. -
I have a couple questions for you:
Why do primes freightliners not feature tractor brakes?? Why did prime buy flat top and midroof sleepers for their company drivers when lease ops get pick condos?? I just do not understand living in a 48-58in sleeper and not being able to stand up. .

Blow a turbo and tell me that.
This thread is not here to debate the merits of lease vs own - there are plenty of other threads available for that in this forum. So if that is where this is going, please take it there. I'm glad you're successful at what you're doing. Not all are, and the consequences of failure can be disasterous. Search out the threads by "Pharmphail" and "Coastie" for examples. BTW... you might want to revisit your sig line. That kind of x'd out word will get you an infraction around here... -
Yeah, I blow a turbo every month.
I could buy a set of drives every month though on that difference.
Ok, I am done discussing this. Glad you are happy with your situation there. -

Wow bro what does being a post ##### mean anything?
-
Huh? We have tractor brakes!!! Do you mean a separate trailer brake control? No idea. Don't need it these days with modern jakes.
Weight savings. All part of getting 49,000 lbs into a reefer trailer - requested by a couple of major accounts. Its not just for company drivers, although they are the primary beneficiaries - meant in terms of regional opportunities with more TAH. Company teams and trainers are in condos.
You can certainly lease one of those guys, and it does open up load possibilities that I can't do in my Cascadia. And... I like to be able to stand up as well!
JimDriv3r and The Challenger Thank this. -
I wouldn't mind doing reefer for them but would I have to go all the way to Springfield for orientation or is there somewhere closer to North Carolina?
