Volunteer has deen very good to my husband! He has been driving for years not the higest paying job he has had but they atr working on that. Nice well maintained equipment. He gets home every weekend and sometimes for a little bt during the week. We are very pleased with them and have 20 plus years of driving to compaire them with. Hope this helped!

I work for Volunteer and very satisfied with the 3000 - 3600 miles I get each week Monday thru Friday and home Saturday and Sunday each weekend. They are a good company which pays 35 cpm if your HazMat it is 36 cpm. We are a 100% employee owned company that operates as a ESOP ( Employee Stock Ownership Plan ) which means free retirement at age 65. we also now run under electronic drivers logs which to me is easier and a plus being that we only run weekdays. Fleet managers are easy to work with as well as upper management. Oldest truck in the fleet are a few 2012 models but mostly 2013 Pete 387's. Most will be upgraded next year to 2015's. Maintenance and shop is top and fast to have anything done tiger you back on the road same day. I would recommend Volunteer to anyone wanting weekly time at home with your family.
