That's not exactly what I wanted to hear.
But it is what I have found. I was around for the first gas crunch (in Oregon - worst hit state) and the popularity rise of "the two-way". (I even had some numbers from the FCC at one time.) Yeah I've noticed it's not near as crowded as it used to be. The late seventies sunspot decline led to the CB popularity decline.
Friends today ask "Why do you want a CB?" If gas goes to $5+ I think there might be a need. Not "Where is?" (for fuel) but "Where is cheapest?". Most of those asking don't truly know what instantaneous answers mean. They think they can "get an app" for gas prices, where the least congested routes are, etc. I've been in technology all my life. I have any (or access to any) app available. Just thought I'd get back to basics.
Thanks Turbo.
