    Convicted child molester Francis Phillip Tullier has undergone surgical castration in Louisiana in order to win parole from prison. Tullier pleaded guilty to three counts of molestation involving young girls in 1999 and was sentenced to 27 years in prison.

    At one time Tullier was facing hundreds of molestation charges. The 78-year-old agreed to have the surgery at his own expense under an agreement that he was castrated before parole was granted.

    What do you think: is surgical castration a proper treatment for sex offenders?
