    ask anyone that lives in new jersey that uses the garden state parkway. the over glorified school bus turned motorcoach drivers are without a doubt reckless and agressive considering the live cargo they are hauling. i'm sure this driver is finished. i'm not the least surprised about him pulling the old " semi cut me off crap"

    I caught wind of this story on tv last night while eating dinner. My first conclusion and many other drivers in the diner. He was drowsy and fighting the sleepy eyes. He probably dozed off for 30secs or more and came too. Over corrected and caused this many unnecessary deaths. I don't believe his story one bit about the trucker hitting/cutting him off. I hope he gets 14 counts of manslaughter and gets the maximum punishment. Send a message to the rest of the tour bus industry, this will not be tolerated.

    I can only imagine how nasty that was to clean up. There had to body parts everywhere dont those busses have video recorders in them anyways???

    Yes, recorders - I saw a story where NHTSA was reveiwing the on-board camera shots/recordings. Most passenger buses use cameras to protect the company, in case, for example, someone sets up a trip and fall personal injury case. In this case, it's the company that'll get whacked. Still won't bring 15 people back, though.

    Yep, just saw it on TV. Witnesses on the bus said the bus driver swerved for no reason and hit the rumble strips twice......in other words, he fell asleep.
