For those of you thinking about jumping the fence over to Conway Truckload I have a few points I wish to make for you to chew on.
1.First call 1-800-243-5467,clik#2 then #1 and listen to what our Chief operating(ond Vice President of Ops) is saying about CSA2010 and how it will effect You at Conway Truckload
2.We are as of today at full capacity of drivers to trucks, yet we cant average more than 2500 miles in 7 days
2."E"-logs,our system does not allow for any personal time off while on the road, you cannot "log-out" to take care of any personal business
3.Loads;with the above system having to be implemented by June1st in all of our trucks(FMCSA mandate due to our DOT score) all loads are now assigned by what your E-log is telling the planners,I managed 1500 miles in 7 days last week and that was their answer
4.They are now telling us that "you should be thankful and consider yourself lucky to receive 2500 miles a week because it is hard to be legal past that".
So now as i was hooking up to a 1000 mile load, they unassigned it as a 220 mile load became available(it was from a shipper that has a better customer rating)so again im in the WTF mode,so now im sittin all day to go 22o miles
If this is the type of company you want to drive for ,give it about 2 weeks and my seat will be available,Ill be home and unloading this truck,15 years here and it has become untolerable.
BTW a few facts,if the 3 years after our(CFI) and Conway's merger I and countless other drivers have taken a paycut,no not in the cents per mile like a lot of you,but in total miles as we have been "Forced to SEttle" with 2200-2500 miles a week, last year my earnings dropped by 15,000 dolllars and i was out for the same amount of time as usual.
Beware that is all im sayin,
ConWay Truckload(or how i have to settle for less)

Oh, Holy Crapola...personal time? Off-duty is off-duty. What you do during such times is up to you. If you're fortunate enough to be close to or at home, do what you need to do.
And even using e-logs and allowing for fueling, pre-trips, post-trips, and a full 30-minutes for drop and hook, you can run 3k in a week. I did so my last 7 days (of course, the cut-off for the week was in the middle of it, but still...).
Sounds like a lot of lame excuses to me... -
Don't reckin it is February and work is slow?

I do believe the economy has been in the tank for the last several years. That's why your miles have dropped. As far as elogs u can get 3000 mi when the freight allows it.

Here is load listed by Conway from Laredo TX to Bufalo NY for $2150.00 by them on the load board. But todays market from Laredo is aprox $2.00/mile (equals aprox $3694 on 1847 miles loaded and the weight is listed to be 45K) Fuel Price here in Laredo ia $3.82/Gal. Please help them

No one has to settle for less unless you choose to. Do that and you will become the driver that posts on here that he worked for a company for years and it sucked! Well, bad choice to stay. That load will be picked up by a large NE fleet just to get the truck home, Conway knows this.

That load is listed by COWAN...Lonesome Thanks this.

this guy is complaining saying you cant average over 2500 miles per week./7 days. some nerve considering that many drivers cant average close to that right now. when i 1st started driving in 08/09, i couldnt get those miles half the time and i dont take many breaks and bust my a#!. quit complaining and get to work!
