I will admit, the northern ON runs are the only ones I'll miss. I told my last company, keep me going to Windsor and back, and I'll keep driving, but they wouldn't do it. Oh well, c'est la vie. I guess I'll have to run northern ON as a tourist now. hehe

The complaint I have heard from drivers who take 11 is that there are lots of Yellow Line drivers.
The drive along 17 is very scenic to be sure. -
This time of year the 17 can be a tad unpredictable, but by now the worst should be over.

Watch the coners in the mornings where there are ruck cuts. Snow/ice melts running onto road and then freezes overnight.

I love 17 but only in the summer as long as you are not that heavy. Otherwise it takes forever to climb those hills. It is beautiful however! HWY is blah compared and BUMPY in several spot but then again it is flat and less predictable with the lake snow weather. White River has a Robins Donuts with the best breakfast biscuit I have ever had!

Robins Donuts sort of died out over the past few years , were quite a few in Eastern Ontario , good place to eat is the lunch bar at the Deep River Dairy , + HOME MADE ice cream.

Flatbed I know...Timmies is taking over big time! I will say the white river one is still there though thankfully
