My first post! Have some question about Roehl. I've done some checking around and believe that Roehl is a great fit for me.
    Questions:
What insurance carrier (health) do they use?
Do they have a hub any where near Madison, WI?
I want to maximize miles, will this be possible?

Thanks in advance for the answers!

They have a trailer drop lot in madison, nearest terminal is in marshfield, You'll have no say over their dispatch, so in other words, you'll have to take the miles they give you and start working with your driver manager for additional miles

you can maximize your miles by communicating with dispatch as much as possible. Send your hours in every morning, and update your ETA as you go along. Also update your home time requests often. Let them know when you need to be home and when you can be flexible. Try to load thru the house as often as possible, it's easier to go home empty but you just waste the time coming out of the house going to get a load. If you can keep moving it's better for you. Run east and try to come right back from NYC/PA/MD as soon as possible. Reefers, Flats, and Curtains, usually come back to WI the fastest. If you pull flats it's possible you'll get stuck in a loop from Milwaukee, to Detroit, to Kentucky, to Minneapolis or LaCrosse, and back over the Milwaukee. Can turn miles when it works out, but it's also possible to have you appts set really far out. Always ask to relay if you can. Ask early, ask often, ask again about an hour before you go by a drop yard. When you get to the drop yard stop and ask again.
