Strange, I could have sworn the def was on the drvr's side of the 700's that transam got. Will have to check the next one I see. Wonder how many gal's the resevoir holds?

Not much on reading blogs myself but will read yours if you start one. Hope to get unbiased opinion from you, both the good and the bad, so that I can make up my mind to jump ship or not.

 

Panhandle, most of the def tanks I've seen and heard about hold 13 gals which they say is enough to go approx 6000-7000 miles... Personally I haven't been able to get more then 5000 but... I also carry 2 2.5 gal cans just in case!!!

 

Day 2 is in the books.......

Morning was spent with HR going over policies and filling out all the new hire paperwork, then they met with those that had gaps in thier employment history that needed to be verified or those that they couldn't verify past employment on.

Lunch was Dominos pizza again, after lunch we went over more policies and procedures. Then we watched some videos about CSA 2010, winter driving, driving I-70 in Colorado.

Back at the motel by 4:15.

Didn't get a chance to look inside the new KW's they were locked up, trainer said since they are getting 500 of them they are not just for trainers and teams. Found out they trade in the old trucks once they get 250K on them!

Does JBS require ya'll to carry chains and if so, will they teach you how to put them on? My company doesn't require them and doesn't send us anywhere that there required so......... I have no idea how to chain.

Yes, we do carry chains. 7 sets! Lets hope you never have to put them ALL on! You are required to chain. I'm sure one of the trainers can show you how.

 

Are they trucks autos or manual (straight/super)? Thanks!!
