The weekend of March 12 2011 a thief employed by Falcon Transport stole my son's CB out of his truck. This happened in the Romulos Mi. yard. My son's truck was the only truck stolen from.
The truck was locked, which mean's only an employee with the right key can gain access to the truck. Before anybody say's it, yes he should not have left the CB in the truck, he was tired and just wanted to get home for the weekend.
Next time your rolling down the highway and ya call out to a Falcon truck and he does'nt answer you, that's because his CB was stolen.
It's quite evident that Falcon Transport hire's Thieve's.![]()
Falcon hire's a thief.....

Sorry to hear about that bro, that sucks!
It seems there is always one or two in any company that will steal anything they can get their hands on!
-
This happens everywhere, I have always been told if you are leaving a truck in the yard, any yard, even if locked, take your stuff out of it. Lots of people have a key to fleet trucks within a company. Sorry to hear this happened.

had a tv stolen outta my truck on the yard once , theif left the remote though so I took it and hung it on the bulletin board in the drivers lounge with a note attached stating whomever stole the tv outta trk#___ here's your remote too, I don't need it since you stole my tv.

Heck, there are only about 4 or 5 different keys for each make of trucks out there. My hubby had stuff stolen out of his truck while it was sitting locked at a truck stop. It doesn't even have to be someone that has 'access' to the keys for the company trucks.
gearjamin and bulldozerbert Thank this. -
We have a list of about 20 different keys for our trucks that they keep in the shop. However, you don't even need the right key or a master to get in. I locked myself out of my truck earlier this week, my spare in my wallet wasn't there, and the key hidden on the frame was missing. A KLLM driver in a Cascadia parked next to me, and let me borrow his key. His key wasn't even close to being cut like my key, but with a little persistent jiggling up and down of the key in my passenger door I was able to turn it and get into my truck.Lilbit Thanks this.

Yup that can happen......like a fool I liked myself out of my truck when fueling once.....an old hand pulled up next to me and offered to let me use his key.....not even the same model Cornbinder...and definitely not the same year.....worked like a charm

Goes DOUBLE for Petes--don't think they have more than 5-6 keys for everything from mid 80's till about late 04 when they changed the style--Didn't have my present(early 04) for a day--and i have a drawer full of old keys in the shop--so checked just for fun--grabbed a key from an 83 359--sho nuff--vroom vroom
Course I've known that for ever--so it won't work on mine--haven't owned a truck in over 30 years that didn't leave the dealer and go to my local locksmith(actually old Mom-Pop--truvalue)where all the tumbles and locks--including ignition were changed--and I've got keys stashed in places I even forgot they were stashe--just in case LMAOLilbit and rocknroll nik Thank this. -
What is the pay like at Falcon?
How does Falcon treat their drivers?
Does Falcon mantain their equipment?
What is the hometime policy at Falcon?
Does Falcon "respect" its drivers?
Do Falcon drivers generally have many comlaints against the company itself?
What are the average miles per week that drivers at Falcon are presently getting?
Does Falcon "encourage" drivers to run illegally?
Is Falcon accurate when it comes to paying drivers or do they routinely "forget" things on driver's paychecks?
How thorough are background checks at Falcon? Do they knowingly hire convicted thieves?
Do Falcon drivers routinely sit long hours waiting for loads?
Does Falcon pay detention , layover and breakdown pay,and if yes is it a problem to get the company to pay?
Would Falcon drivers recommend the company or would they discourage others from working there> -
Some do, some don't. There's no Perfect company out there. Year's past certain companies cared about thier driver's. In today's fast paced time's it's all about the company making as much $$$ as possible, NOW before anybody say's anything, Yes I know that's why a company is in Business to make $$$$ But they could act at least like they care about thier employee's.Last edited by a moderator: Mar 15, 2011
