    Okay, I have a question.

So if a load is $6500 and its 3555 miles, how much money would you make on this trip??

The expenses would include; Driver pay, fuel, maintenance, tires, truck payment, trailer payment, taxes, insurance, incidentals, compliance, and all the expenses in the office.

Do you think after all these expenses, I would still make money on this trip??

    Thank you :)

Simply put I work on about 15% and in that % I still must pay truck and trailer. Therfore the better the frieght the more in your pocket when fieght is a dollar a mile you pay bills with your savings

You would have to provide much more info for some more serious answer. We who also drive our own trucks would make some (not as much as we deserve though) money on that trip, and that rate might be sufficient if the delivery is in the area with better paying freight to be reloaded.

For the math challenged that is 1.91 per.

Fuel surcharge? Who's trailer? Any handling or special considerations?

Is it going somewhere there is good freight for next load?
