And a big "way to go" to you Lady K. I've enjoyed reading about you and your's progression in life's big adventure. You and the Mr. have been an inspiration to me and I myself finish school with 15 hours more of BTW.

Not trying to be a butt-in-ski, but why not take the initiative? Phone call to hubby, flight to mutually agreed upon destination at an estimated ETA, and a cab ride to a truckstop/rest area on his route. The whole ordeal could take place on his next 10. Probably not as expensive as cooling your heels for 2 weeks. Doesn't sound like your employer wants to layout the cash, even if it would be in their interest to put a team together ASAP. Just an idea. Take care.

Good job Lady K and all others that have made it to upgrade the past few weeks.
Seems like we are on a roll here still. I would say that forum members have about a 90% success rate at school.

If you are in SLC I would go into the dispatch office and see if you can get your hubby a swap. So he can bring a load back to SLC to get you.

    Lady K Thanks this.

I will do that! Thank you - from what 'his' DM said - 'there aren't any loads headed that way - and the ones that are, no one is letting go of' - I didn't know we had a choice. All I can do is try...

All he can do is ask as well.
If the DM tries he may be able to find a driver that is willing to swap when they know your situation.
Also they are more prone to swap if they have already run most of the miles off the load and can get more miles taking yours.
Plus when the last day of the pay period hits it is nice to swap if you are on a multi day load. That way you are paid for the miles you ran up to that point.

Do you drive a white Volvo? There was a white volvo Central there when I was leaving Kraft in Aurora at 1700 parking in the back row as I was coming out. Did you notice a light blue Freightshaker Century with a messed up grill pulling a Walmart trailer, that was me

See if there is is anyway you can go recover a truck and bring it back to the yard and do local work until he get's back there. If you can then you can make some money too.

Hey I had the same problem in January. I was sent everywhere but home for 1 whole month. I was supposed to be home the 17th of January and didn't home till the 17th of February. You have to really stay on your DM about it message him every day when you have time to answer him back. That's the only way you will get home. I had to go above my DM's head then I got home. Sorry your having trouble keep your chin up and you will get home.

Also, anyone notice we have a check call included in our mac9 now. I just did a late post trip, after I had dinner and played online, it slipped my mind, but anyway, it should be two macs in one now.
