We use Millenicom. Pretty decent service. Unlimited if you want it. You can Bring your own device if you want.

We get our cellphone service thru Verizon(phone service only). We get our home internet service thru Bright House(cable). I also need to acquire wireless internet service for my laptop. I hit the road in 12 days. I don't know if I should upgrade to a phone with Internet capabilities or not. I'm still using a Captain Kirk type flip-open phone. Internet for the laptop is my primary concern.

You can pay for an get wi-fi throught truckstops or..

Do as I do and have a stand alone device throught my cell phone company. I use the Sprint Overdrive 3g/4g device for my internet connection. I also have a Blackberry phone throught Nextel so techically I have internet on it also but hate using the phone for internet.

So thats the best option. I reccomend the Sprint Overdrive, there internet is alot better than there phone service. There are areas my Blackberry has no signal and I turn the overdrive on and it has a perfect signal.

I believe Verizon has a great mobile internet unit also but I have never used it and not sure if its 4g or not.

Go to a Sprint store and talk to them about it!

I get mine thru Pilot Truckstop (Wandering Wi-Fi) for $150.00 per year, breaks down to $12.50 a month. That's where I usually park at night due to my shower credits being there. It's not the best, but it's cheap and serves all the purpose I need it for. I'm not downloading TV shows or movies so it's quick enough for me.

No bluetooth, but your phone has to be internet capable and it will cost you... unless you root that is...

I dont think you get unlimited service that way either. I had a verizon wireless card to run Internet on my laptop. I found that some of the locations i stopped at, lets use the Loves truck stop at exit 9 on hwy 40 in AZ for example, my Internet doesn't work that good with the card cause there is limited cell service there.

I ended up buying a month of Internet service from Loves to try out and it works great, Fast Internet with no problems. My lap top took a crap so I am looking for another one at the present time but have been using my droid X until I get one.

I also think Verizon charged 50 or 60 bucks a month for the air Card service and a 2 year contract. Thankfully I owned an Air Card already and didnt have to sing up for a contract just month to month.

Also if you use your phone to run your lap top Verizon told me they charge an additional 29 bucks a month to make it happen. that's on top of the 29 you have to pay already to get Internet service on your Internet capable phone.

google EasyTether or PDANet. There is no reason to pay Verizon for tethering. They get enough of your money as it is.
