found this truck on an e-bay listing. Has anyone come across one of these "trick my trucks" actually on the road? E-bay item # is 330133931610 if you'd like to see it

Someone told me that about half of the "trick my truck" rigs have been sold, wrecked or are back in crappy condition. I saw "Catagorey 5" on E-bay a while back. I think it kindda seem's like a slap to the face to the guy's who built 'em.

I saw the truck they did that was dedicated to that driver's deceased son. I can't remember what they called the truck but it is the one that had his son's portrait on the fifth wheel cover and the paint job was like a dark orange. Anyhow, he passed me on I40 in TN a week or so ago doing like 90 mph and had a white replacement type hood on it. You talk about a good way to ruin the looks of that custom paint job...:biggrin_25513:

I tried to look at the e-bay listing today to see how high the bid had gotten.
A message came up that said it was removed.
    Oh Well.
Would have been interesting to see how much it went for.

I always wondered about having a truck that looks that good, and working with it in the real world. Some times it seems they cram too much stuff into the sleepers. Where are you going to put your gear?LOL I still love the show, and can't wait to hear Junkyard hollar "Let's tear down!".:yes2557:

I've seen "Icebreaker", "Cat-5", and the one they did for the older woman with the horses at sunset theme. I've also seen another rig not done on the show that was painted a light frost pastel purple, with headlights placed into the Texas bumper, tiny LED turn signal indicators on the fenders, and ?8"? flat black stacks with matching flat black diesel tanks. Lowered a bit also

i came across the cat 5 the other day on i-10 in sw louisiana...the guy said he baught it off the owner that had it on the show for around 80 grand...wich isnt a bad price...but the guy also said he was looking at a dedicated run to alaska..wich the long wheel base of the the W900L might not be short enough to go with a long trailer...and mentioned he was looking to sell it to get another truck that he could use going that way threw canada
