Hire Letter?

    I went to the local workforce center today to try to get government assistance with CDL training. I took a pre-approval letter with me from a company I applied for. I was told that I would need a hire letter (not a pre-hire or pre-approval letter) saying that I passed all of the background checks and that all I need is a CDL.

    Has anyone on here received government assistance for a CDL training program? If yes, do you know how to obtain a hire letter?

    It's prolly deifferent state by state! Unless someone here has the right answer I'd try calling the state. They'd be better suited to give you the right answers! Good luck to ya

    I don't think you have to do that in Ohio so it must be state by state.
    Unless they just started this recently.
