I ran 500 miles a day almost exactly mon, tues, wed. Then on Thursday I was screwed and only got 400 today.
Back in Chicago land. Hoping for a load to Columbus in the morning so I can get a load home for the weekend.
Been averaging about 2400 a week for over a month now. Not too bad with being home every weekend.

I am making big money like those 3400 mile a week Central drivers now lol.
    Lets see, me 1032 gross.
Them (at .32 cpm) 1088 gross.

If I didn't like being OTR so much, might think about regional with Heartland. BTW, once again I came down I380 thru Cedar Rapids. Is that the HQ for Heartland or just a regional office? Saw a bunch of trks there.

Well, got all finished with the paperwork and tomorrow starts the beginning of the end. Meeting with the mentor and jumping in the truck to start the REAL training, no more training wheels and hand holding. Yahoo

i see att has found a way to decipher who's tethering on there iphones. ordering a cease and decist or automatically get a data plan added to your bill. $45 a month.

so far the only ones I've heard about recieving this are people who use LOTS of data 20-30gig a month, I stay under 5gig a month though I'm on unlimited plan, but I have read people watching netflix non-stop while tethered. I really really don't think they can detect tethering, but rather go by the amount of data consumed, it would be pretty hard to consume 20-30gig a month just on the phone.

But I don't watch netflix, or really do much online radio, just basic web surfing and stuff.

so for now I'll continue to tether as usual and really doubt I'll get a text message or email advising me to cool it.

That would be North Liberty. That is our main terminal.

Well, not getting home this weekend, and not very happy.
He got me a good mileage load from Fostoria OH to Smyrna DE. But it is short about 70 miles once I go around the tolls and take truck routes.
I am going to have to talk to him in the morning. If I cannot go home anyway he may as well get me a load that I get paid all the miles.
Got me my deadhead from this morning thrown on my check for next week though. That will even out my average.

I keep thinking about calling one of the local company's at home. There is one I am not too sure about. It is a national lease company. And they have the contracts for most of the local factory's. They are all Daycabs and home every night.
They were hiring a few months ago but I never called. I am thinking on it again now.
I am tired of my work being my life. And I know that my wife is tired of being alone.
She has always been a little needy. She has gotten better, but still she is rarely happy. And that makes me sad.
Also we have New England Motor Freight in town. Not the greatest LTL company. But they are growing and they are union. I believe they hire now and then as well.

    Panhandle flash Thanks this.

They can ping phones at random to find out if it is tethering or if you put the SIM card into a 3G modem. That's how they got me. I have an unlocked 3G modem I would change the card out in it.

They can also find out what phone you have the SIM card in. My step daughter has an unlocked iphone and they tagged the data plan onto it after they pinged her phone and saw it was an iphone. Data plans are required for iphones.
