Ok guys I am in the same boat. 3.7-4.3 mpg with c15 mxs 625 2050 18 speed 3:36 rears 285wb aercab flat top w900l pulling benson 524 48'10" flatbed with roll tire curtain system. Set cruise at 65 mph # 1300 rpm shifting at 1300. Just had cat run overhead and change fuel transfer pump and check valve. Running Donaldson m120750 mufflers. Truck has 716000 on ECM.
Previous owner pulled reefer from Idaho to Cali every week running 70-80 mph and got 4.7 consistantly. I am doing worse babying this at 65mph. Please help as no one can tell me why 3.7-4.3 mpg
