No, he sure ain't. He's just making a point, which spine-less elected Republicans refuse to do.
See his location? He's on the front line, helping soldiers so they can do their best keeping us safe.

I agree he could've done it in a better manner.
But being ripped of $680, I guarantee there wouldn't be Mercer signs on my truck anymore! -
It's usually agents who screw you. People in Louisville treat me pretty good, though I do wish they did a little more to help me get paid.
I tried to get to the bottom of it for a few months with no luck, and I gave up. At least, it was a part of Gulf oil recovery operation so I don't feel too bad donating my time and some fuel.
Leaving Mercer really wasn't a choice back then, as I was just getting started and my bank account balance was barely above 3 digits.
I have that option now, if I chose to do so. And I know better now than to take a load that an agent booked over the weekend completely bypassing Louisville. -
I'll take that crticism....les 2.........the facts I stated are correct........but my attitude wasn't totally correct........ for my wrong attitude I do apologize.....thanks for your constructive crticism

Then instead of calling Mercer out in hole, he should be calling the agent out instead. The agents are contractors just like us. I can tell you several agents that I won't haul for. Norfolk (LNV) is one of them. I'll deadhead 1,000 miles before I touch their freight.
GO MERCER RAH RAH!
Oh.... Wait a minute.... I think it is....
GO OAKLEY RAH RAH RAH!
No No No.... That ain't right either. Let me try this again.
GO SCHNEIDER RAH RAH RAH RAH
My butt hurts & is slippery for some reason. -
I appreciate any addition of facts to this thread, whether it's good or bad. So that people who read it can get good information to draw their own conclusion.
Everyone has different levels of knowledge/experience, perspective, financial situation, etc. It's not one-size-fits-all. Let's let people decide for themselves if Mercer is good fit for them or not.
You be safe. -
I agree, but the problem is that the agents represent Mercer and therefore make them look bad. Just like the drivers do.
Please don't send me pics of you in your cheerleading outfit. That would be something that can't be unseen. -
Well here is a fact... I thought it was rumor until I came into the yard today.
Mercer is paying the $25 fee for everyone who desires to get their Alabama Coil Certificate. They do not reimburse, if you do not have your certificate. Call a driver advocate. They will set it up & then call you back with the info you need to access the tests online. Then after you complete the tests, you call them back. They will print out your certificate, sign it, then fax it to you. -
TX AND NM HAVE CHEAP Van freight. If interested.

Not intereseted..... Oh wait.... Yep still no sides on that trailer back there
