Big Rig on the Rails

CLAYMONT, Del. - June 14, 2007 - Workers are still trying to clear a tractor trailer that raced off I-495, through a fence and finally stopped blocking several rail lines in Delaware. Regional Rail commuters will be affected.
The accident happened just after 6 a.m. along I-495, just south of the Claymont Train Station.

The truck stopped on the Amtrak railroad lines, and due to the problems, the SEPTA R2 Wilmington/Newark train service will only operate between Marcus Hook and Philadelphia until further notice. Amtrak trains could also be affected. There's no word about injuries at this time.
