Yep....you got it. You get a P.O. box or a private mailbox....or use a family member or a GOOD friend (with permission of course) for your mail. I've even worked at companies where they would allow your mail to be delivered there if you "lived" in the truck.
fancypants Thanks this. -
Thanks for your input

Most bills I try to take care of online. I use a PO Box and it's usually overpacked when I get home. It's good to get a medium size one. Them little ones don't cut it when you are out 4-6 weeks.
On occasion your company might overnight something to you and have it delivered to a truck stop enroute. Most truck stops are use to that.fancypants Thanks this. -
Thank you condo cruiser and irondog Any other single drivers out there with input?

Go buy a travel trailer magazine and in the back classifieds, there are ads for mail forwarding services for retired "full-timers" that live full time in RV's. Most are in Fl./Tx./Az. The service receives their mail and holds it until the customer wants it. The service will put it into a manilla envelope and send it to where the customer tells them. The fee is pretty cheap and is not a PO box. Just a suggestion.

Mot sure about other States but in Tennessee they would not let me list a PO box on my CDL. at one time I used the street address of the post office for my home address on the license. Now my mail goes to my daughters house when I am out. My van is parked there as well. When I get in I go through the mail and most goes straight to the round file in the corner .LOL My bills are done online but there are not many of them.

I rent the second largest box my post office has, for the princely sum of 88 bucks twice a year. Started with a small one, and they #####ed constantly because I was gone for 3 weeks and the box would overflow.
Even with this one as large as it is, it's really a drawer, I have issues. At least we have finally come to an understanding, that I am widowed, without family, and just maybe you have to cut me some slack at times.
One of my friends gets my mail when she thinks about it, to get them of my back too. She lives 20 miles away, so it doesn't happen all the time. -
I go home every 3 weeks to read the mail, that my wife collects from the mailbox every day

Many years ago I had a post office agree to stop the junk mail in my box so It would not be over stuffed before I got bad with sale papers. That was the only one that would do it. Others say they cant refuse to deliver the bulk mail. . So i finally canceled my PO box. I refuse to pay for a box big enough to hold every sale paper in the Nashville area just to put it in the PO trash can on the way out the door anyway.
