Hopefully I can get into a good truck.

OK, so my last time home. Truck won't regen, they tow it back to terminal. Get a new truck, fine, get out of my 08 Columbia and get an 08 Volvo. Get a load out of the terminal to Tomah, WI for a quick run. Then head over to Minn. for a load going to Chatanooga. Get a load out of there heading up to Midland, MI.

I park for the night in Franklin, OH at the Pilot. I'm in the back of my sleeper minding my own business when all of a sudden: KKKKKKKKRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Rips out the front end (headlight assembly, part of the hood and bumper gaurd)

Yay, so now I get a 301 truck (07 Volvo) with over half a million miles and parts falling off of it. Tried to get it fixed when I moved all my stuff into it at the terminal in Columbus, but they just put tape on it. Started flapping again a day later.

Also leaks exhaust and could use a new clutch return spring, so yeah. Maybe I can get a better truck when I get to my home terminal tomorrow.

I agree with Dick above. :biggrin_25523: (twice in 1 year!) Don't omit anything. You lie 2 things can happen.

    1. you don't get hired.

    2. if they want to be mean they can ding your DAC even if you didn't work there.

And they can do it legally!

Oh god, I hate lumpers with a fiery passion.

Got my truck backed into the dock, had to unhook. Now it's just sitting there. Won't unload until they get the check.

Now I'm just waiting for my macro 40 to go through, so who knows how long that's going to take.

It's the Supervalue in Green Bay if anyone else has been there.

I had to pay $210 for lumpers to unload me at the Bi-Lo in Greenville, SC. I hate lumpers too. If I chose to unload me truck, I had a two hour time limit, but since I chose to let the lumpers do it, they took over three hours.

Man this is one of the greatest post I have read on this site? Very informative. Can anyone tell me about what I can expect to make a week after I get my Owen truck? ( after I leave the mentor) I know it depends on the loads but what would the average be?

$850.00 Is about what you will make if you put a little effort into it.
