all the while he does not sign a contract or get a student loan, others ARE (or did) and now earning a weekly paycheck..

this o/p has only "just joined"...could be a fly by just to stir things up a bit...

hey, if he REALLY wanted to get into driving for 2YEARS AGO, he would have done it..

i feel no pains or sympathy for him...

he's basically in my opinion, LAZY.......

or just here to start crap with everyone....

    nuff said....

They make medication for blood pressure.
Mine was extremely high, scary high, i woke up with headaches.
I went to the VA clinic and got the bejebus scared out of me.
I take something called lisinopril, it has lowered my blood pressure to the low/normal range and I have not woke up with a headache in months.
    Please get some medicine.

With 150 over whatever as you so eloquently put it, What kind of CDL physical are you passing? Seriously if your blood pressure means so little to you that you can't even remember the numbers you need to start using your brain for something other than holding your ears apart!

What are you gonna get? Maybe a 3 month card?

Nobody will touch you with that....Combined with the crappy attitude, You lose!

So far I've had 19 reply's with no real answers on how I can get my CDL on my own. I can see why the trucking industry is the way that it is.

Don't insult me. I don't need people lecturing me on work ethics. That's not going to help me.

I apolgize to the admins of this forums for my tone, however I'm not going to be disrespected and not respond. If you were to ban me that would be ok I just ask that you leave my original post up about trucking schools being a scam.

My reasoning is simple. Why spend 7,500 for school when I can buy a truck for a little more and just learn on my own using my own insurance. Just doesn't make sense to me. There needs to be a better way.

If you have missed the answer, there is no way to get your CDL without going to school or through a company.

The answer is right there in front of you.....You're apparently not capable of seeing it. Nobody's "disrespecting" you, You just don't like the answers that you're getting and have chosen to see it as "disrespect".
Your life is gonna continue to be hard for you as long as you look at "reality" as being "disrespect".

Trucking schools aren't scams. They provide a service for a fee. And the demand for this service is very high. I went to bartending school, broadcasting school and truck school. They all cost $$. My nephew just finished golf school, and his friend just finished culinary school. They have yet to find work, but they aren't looking either. They think a job will fall from the heavens into their lap. You can go to a 3 day school to get your CDL, (just driving, skills). About a grand maybe. You can self learn logging etc. Then buy a truck, 10-15 grand, get your authority, and find some loads. But all this takes perserverance and it will be work. Hell, you buy the truck and I'll teach you how to drive it ! So, you ready to do this ? In fact, I'll be in So. Bend on June 15th picking up a motor home from the factory and driving to Az.
