Well bless your heart. Thank you so much for letting us know that those of us who are currently employed by trucking companies don't know nearly as much as you do about the industry. I'm so tickled that you took the time out of your busy video watching life to come and inform us.

Now that I've got that sarcasm out of my system I will say that I have indeed watched some of her videos. I think she's a bright young woman with a goal and purpose.

Now me, I just drive a truck. I wanted to drive a truck after decades in another profession. So what I did was study the industry, listen to people, learned from them, made sure I didn't just jump on the band wagon of the first naysayer. Then I went to school. I chose a company that many said would do me wrong. But I had done my own research. My husband also went to this company. He trained, signed the loan and was trained and put in a truck. I trained, signed no loan as my training was free. Then I went into his truck and we've teamed ever since.

That company treats us well. In fact that company has paid for our part of our insurance while we've been on medical leave for three months. Our fleet manager checks on us and showed up at the hospital after my husband's surgery. Our DM brought us food. They've even asked if we needed money.

So while you've been watching videos I've been living it.

You asked where the old days are......well hoobilly......in the old days a man did what he needed to in order to get the job. He didn't sit around watching videos and whining because he was expected to put forth effort.

Bless your heart and the hearts of your generation.

i agree...the o/p is either a troll or instigator, providing nothing more than one video about someone complaining.

i think it's time we all just up and leave, or hijack this thread....

screw him..he ain't nobody to get worked up about...

I don't want one like that. I want a small little house. Maybe 3 containers at the most with an extra one for storage. I'm getting close to the edge of building underground, going off the grid and stock piling food and ammo.

I'll go start a new thread, I'm out of this one. I can't stand reading this boy's posts any more. Makes me want to ground him and send him to his mama's basement.

If you know you can hacket then do it.
Get out of mamby pamby land and do it!
Find a school. Get your BP under control. Get your CDL and find a good company that fits you! Put in your year or two,and doors open for better jobs. But you have to work at it. Its not going to fall from the sky!

WOW--this thread really blew up quick!--seems as soon as I get done--laffin--there are 3-4 more posts--so I had to stop and catch my breath to post this--and S******H there are 10 more!
BUT I HAVE TO PIPE IN--
I have been out here a long time!!-but I am thankful to all the new drivers who have learned so much so quick--due to my total lack of the ways things are done today!
As my wife tells me(and everyone else)don't pay any attention to him--he still THINKS it's 1975!!(course I have to remind her if it was 1975--we would still be living in a single wide--behind grandad's and making payments on an R Model and sharing a 67 Ford p/u--but why ruin her fun)
    So my only question is?
How on earth did we survive without?
    cell-phones
    laptops
    quailcommies
    cruise control
    jake breads
    radial tires
    power steering
    satellite radio
    only one gear stick
    automatic defrosting reefers
    air-conditioning
all this new found COMMON COURTESY
    Truck Driving Schools
    Lumpers
    Chep pallets
    Air-Ride
    Clean Private Showers
Never mind I need a Beer!

Did you say you take lisinoprol? If you are getting that for $10 bucks for 90 days, that is where I am going to start buying mine.
