I've been driving for Knight since last year, coming up on my 6 months in about the first part of May. Things could be a little bit better or worse. Either way, I've been ready to test the waters and see if I can't find something better in May. The one thing that's been eating away at me the most of all, is having to leave my baby boy (Golden Labrador) at home every time I get back on that truck. But on the other hand, it seems like every other company I've talked to/heard about says they only allow pets on lease trucks, if at all. Well just to get one thing perfectly straight, I'm not here to sign a lease with anybody, ever! I do not care how stupid any company thinks I am or how much they try to "sweeten the pot" for me to sucker me into it. It just ain't happening. I might reexamine and reconsider another 1-3 years down the road, but for now, hell no! So anyway, my question to you is do any of you know of any of the bigger companies (the ones I'll have to stick to for at least a little while longer) that will allow for a pet on a company truck...with or without a deposit? The only one company that would be the exception to the rule that I think I've heard of would be Werner. Somebody told me they allow pets on all their trucks. But on the other hand, I kind of have yet to hear a whole lot of positive about that particular company. Anyway, if you can help point me in the direction of a good or at least ok company that will gladly accept both me and JJ (my Lab) on a company truck, I would very much appreciate it.

Earl L. Henderson, Salem, IL. Admittedly, they are not huge, but not too small either, close to 400 trucks.
