I am a current driver for USA and while I admit there are some difficult days, no day has ever been like what these two cats described here. I have found that the ones with the most horriffic stories are the ones who have done something to cause the events to unfold they way they did, usually in a manner much different than the so called "victim" describes. USA has a short lease on drivers and has a zero tolerence policy on lots of stuff but I have never heard such a thing happen to any employee there.

No money? Driving on flat tires? Come on! In this climate of DOT havoc, no company in their right mind does that and for anyone to make such a statement as fact is wreckless. I have been in several hotels provided by USA, never any rats. Been broken down a few times, always had someone show up to repair the problem.

Its amusing how someones account of a situation can vary so much from reality!

For one thing usa does not pay for a hotel for any reason. You've been in lots paid for by usa truck? BS. My tripac was out in Denver in 20 degree weather and they wouldn't pay for a hotel. They didn't care if I froze to death. I have permanent nerve damage in four of my fingers from sleeping in the blistering cold. I am not a victim, just a person who made a terrible mistake working for a bunch of ignorant hillbillies.
I have a new job working a line drive. I make 23.69 an hour and get around 60 hours a week. I still talk to every usa driver I run across and still have not found one that is happy with usa.
So, my conclusion is that you are either an employee working in Van Buren getting paid to monitor these posts or you are a green driver who knows nothing about how the real trucking industry works.

yeah i worked for em everything is true i lasted 5 months and had enough and they tried screwing me over big time but i took lots of pics of quall com messages, and the inside and outside of the truck, im an honest guy and just wanted to quit with no drama and they turned it into a personal vendetta. so i say to anybody starting out with these big companies. screw them over as bad as you can before they do it to you and take pictures to cover your ###....

actually it was 4. and as you can see from all of these posts, usa is a ripoff. I had to ask the Arkansas Dept of Labor to help me get the money they owed me including my last check and my escrow. Her name is Sheila and her exact words were "This company is very evasive and slippery". Give her a call and ask her what she thinks about USA Truck. Then there should be no other questions right? 501-682-4500
If you still think usa is a good company after talking to her it is as I said before, you either work in the van buren office or you are an inexperienced driver, probably your first job and you don't know any better.

I think jovanna18's biggest mistake was putting too much trust in an employer. Especially in our line of work. usa is not known for having high quality standards, or treating thier drivers right, and they do have many good people working for them. I am a little biased in my opinion of them ever since one of thier drivers backed into the side of my tractor at the loading dock! It was classic-the usa driver stated "huh-I've never done anything like that before!" as we were standing next to the taped / broken fender panel with missing mirror and brackets and bent bumper corner from a previous oops (on the usa truck not mine).
