Well I finally got a job, I could'nt find a TRACTOR TRAILER COMPANY to hire me , cause of a DUI in 2001 and no experince. So I got a job driving a straight job, i'm still not going to give up looking this will have to do for now.

How long does a DUI stay on your record ? I can't believe that they can still use that against you after 10 years ! ?

Really most companies will overlook it if its 5 years or older. However it does look like ####. Im thinking you cant drive for anybody with two of em. Were you convicted? Why not expunge it from your criminal record?

Your still a lot better off with your straight trucking job, than you would be working a gay trucking job like CRE.

For most companies they have to be 10 years or older, scince I was locked up for my DUI in 2001 but convicted in 2002 it's only 9 years.

Congrats Dano! There's nothing wrong with driving a straight truck. You will most likely need to do refresher training though if you get a job in the future driving otr.

    Excellent point, Bazerk!!!
