I am wondering what home time is like for PAM team drivers. We live in central PA and my husband will be starting with them after training. He found out today that he will be a team driver but he's worried about home time. He's been told that they get very little if any. does anybody know what the hometime for them is like. It would help out alot. Thank you!

Well, as you said, he's been told he'll get very little home time. The problem here is two-fold. Your hubby lives in Pa., his co-driver may live in Tx. Trying to co-ordinate two drivers getting home will be a problem. He may have a load going by the house, but may not have time to stop if it's a hot load. Plus, do you want his co-driver sitting in the truck in your driveway while you and hubby are getting cozy? I would say have him stick it out for awhile before he makes any decisions.

Back in 2005 when an ex-girlfriend and I teamed with PAM Dedicated, we were home every other week.

Is he gonna be with PAM Dedicated or one of the other divisions of PAM?

The main division, which is PAM Transport, was all solo drivers last I knew except for trainers.
